Syntopia is an emerging start-up, spin-out from Laboratory of Biophysic and Evolution at ESPCI-PSL in Paris, France (PI : Dr Philippe Nghe). Syntopia’s mission is to revolutionize preclinical testing by providing cutting-edge solutions for high-throughput phenotypic screening. By developing microfluidic chips, a range of associated equipment and in silico models, we enable pharmaceutical companies, biotech and CROs to conduct extensive drug candidate tests with significantly reduced biological and chemical material. Our solutions allow researchers to bridge the gap between in vitro results and in vivo effectiveness while working with limited quantities of primary patient cells, reducing operational costs and enhancing test reliability. The company’s ultimate goal is to better assess the efficacy and toxicity of new therapeutic options for complex diseases such as cancer, neurological disorders, and rare diseases.
